Correspondence, 1891-1907, and balance reports, 1878-1880, from state and national banks primarily concerning their status as depositories of state funds. This material was retained as an evidentiary sample from a large volume of routine transactions. Also retained is a sample of bank stationery illustrating Wisconsin bank buildings during the early twentieth century.
